At the first brainstorming session, we started by writing down everyone's thoughts about the concept of diversity in a mind map. In this way we came up with very diverse subjects and ramifications. Still a very broad view of 'diversity'. Our interest was mainly in diversity in non-verbal communication. It is something that everyone possesses naturally, yet miscommunication can occur due to cultural differences or habits where one lives. This was an idea we wanted to take further.
