Location

The Borgerhub building is located in the Borgerhout district, the smallest district of Antwerp. It is located on the east side of the center, next to the Central Station. In 2013, the district had almost 50 000 inhabitants, with 62% having a different origin than Belgian. This makes Borgerhout the most multicultural district of Antwerp, it is a lively district which acts as a through-route from Antwerp, residential area and shopping heart. The three most common nationalities in Borgerhout are Moroccan, Turkish and Belgian. In the past, the confluence of all these nationalities did not always run smoothly.

The Borgerhub is located on the main street of Borgerhout, the Turnhoutsebaan. The Turnhoutsebaan is an approach road to Antwerp and connects Antwerp with Turnhout. It separates North and South Borgerhout but still remains a place of connection between the residents.
